The
Messages from Parents
When
we first visited ISMILE, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the school
premises and its facilities. As a very critical parent who wants the best
for her children, I talked to Mr.Andrew, the Principal, about the school
program and curriculum, the opportunities and challanges that our son, Josh
will be experiencing before we register him with the school. After the meeting,
we still have my doubt but finally decided to give Josh a try at ISMILE.
Today, we can see that it is the right decision. Josh develops to be a very
independent and competent individual. He can eat, drink and go to toilet
without help. He can count, read, loves music, natures, role-play, enjoy
physical activities and he can pray. He is a happy boy with strong character
who have interests and abilities in many different things. That is what matters
to us.
Thank you ISMILE, especially Mr.Andrew, Ms.Pat, Ms.Ellen, Ms.Dewi, Ms.Halim,
Ms.Erlina, Ms.Dolly and all of the management and staffs that I cannot
mention here. You have shown your love, passion and compassion to the
children regardless of their races, Nationalities and backgrounds. Keep up the
good work. God Bless You All.

Ever
since Mandy attended school at Ismile, she frequently comes
home
with new discoveries and songs in English as well as in Chinese.
Among
the curriculum introduced at Ismile, we applaud a few good
quality programs
that we hope will continue at the school.
This Thursday morning, as she was getting dressed for school,
she asked
"Is today Thursday?... Hooray! It's Kindermusik day!"
Kindermusik is a truly
valuable source of learning. Mandy's ability to sing her favourite
songs
demonstrates that Kindermusik nurtures her memory skill. We
know that
this program will facilitate her higher learning in many,
many ways.
Fan Lao Shu's creative teaching methods and her joyful attitude
is perfect
for introducing Chinese Language. Where Mandy has previously
resisted
our efforts to introduce Chinese at home, lessons with Fan
Lao Shu has
proven a healthy start for her. Nowadays, she comes home proudly
displaying her growing Chinese vocabulary.
We also like the professionally designed kids' gym and the
lovely, spacious
outdoor garden.
Please forward our utmost gratitude to Miss Leni for her valuable
and professional guidance. She is the central platform to
Mandy's growing love for school and learning.

ISMILE
is more like a second home and a second family to us as it
is a school. Within its walls, my daughter is supported, nurtured,
challenged, encouraged to explore different activities and
interests and inspired to be involved and thoughtful community
member, not just a good student.
Now, as we watch our daughter grow we are particularly gratified
by the school's commitment to its Mission.
Through the Mission and values, along with ISMILE's challenging
academic program, we have no doubt that our children are being
prepared to enter the rich, diverse and complicated world.

What
I love about ISMILE is that the teachers have all been warm
and welcoming to all parents from the start. They treasure
our views and opinions and are always open to criticism and
striving for greater improvements.
I thank all teachers who treat us as a part of family, and
took the time to understand each and every child's unique
personality and nature, to bring out the best of who they
can become.
I thank ISMILE for their impressive hygiene in taking good
care and maintenance of all the facilities around the school,
so much so that a paranoid mother like myself has pretty much
nothing to complain about. Thank you Ismile.

My
children had spent their early years from one preschool to
another, each child nearly half a dozen schools. My first
child is now in primary and I still have two younger children
to be educated.
From those previous preschools we tried before, I couldn't
help noticing how insecure and misplaced my children were.
The teachers didn't really understand my kids and help them
on what was suppose to be their golden period of learning.
At ISMILE, from the first time my child entered the school,
I felt as if they have known my children for many years. They
understand who my kids are and how to embrace them.
Finally I have found a place where I have faith that I'm building
better lives for my children's future. Thank-you ISMILE!
