At ISMILE, According to Mr Edwin Lau, eating right should
begin as possible. Mr.Lau is a Television host with Metro TV for
Healthy Life, with TVN for FOODVAGANZA and with Astro TV in Healthy
Chef. He is a professional chef, a Nutritionist & Fitness Consultant
besides wearing many other hats, a model, an author (his new book
"Healthy Express" will be launched next month). Edwin
also conducts his own cooking classes and speaks at various health
and diet seminars.
He walk the talk and you will be impressed by his wealth of knowledge
and inspired by his conviction in eating and living healthily. Edwin
will be conducting his first talk in ISMILE this term on the 14th
of May 9:00-10:30am. His first workshop will be on Healthy Parents
+ Healthy Kids = Healthy Family and subsequently he promises he
can demonstrate cooking the right food the right way. Parents, be
prepared to take down plenty of healthy tips from Edwin!

At ISMILE, Mark McClendon
is the Regional WorldReach Director for the Christian Broadcasting
Network (CBN) in Indonesia, and is based in Jakarta with wife Ira
Sekuntarwati and their three children. McClendon is also responsible
for Obor Berkat, a humanitarian/relief organization. OB, known as
Operation Blessing in the United States, does extensive disaster
relief efforts, and does medical outreach, community development
efforts, micro enterprise and scholarship programs throughtout Indonesia,
and was even awarded the prestigious Satya Lencana Medal of Honor
by Indonesia's president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono for their disaster
relief work in Aceh in 2005.
Despite his hectic schedule, Mr. McClendon has graciously accepted
ISMILE's invitation on the 29th of April from 9.00-10.30am and he
challenges us with this topic:

It was great fun celebrating Easter with an early morning exercise
The Easter Egg Hung! It warmed up our visitors and guests our the
Special Costume Drama put up by ISMILE students: how the saviour
came to save His beloved on earth!
The exciting Puppet Show followed with lively stories, thumping
music and amazing action. Leading on was the dynamic dance and gym
session with both students and parents rolling and rocking all around
the hall.
The parents and children had fun enjoying the Term Project Work
exhibits and tasty snacks while catching up with the teachers and
staff. It was a full house!
